Generally like to write good reviews but this place let's the Coffee Club name down. Food handling needs to be reviewed as scones picked up with fingers. Waited near 45 min for coffee to be served after having to approach staff as to where it was. Blamed printer. If you are going to employ staff who maybe a little challenged physically or mentally very good I say but please remember you have customers too
Terrible service, it took half an hour to take my order as the cashier had absolutely no training on a new software update. Also brought out ice cream dessert before my meal was served. NO CLUE.
Ordinary food. Small portions. Tea bags? But you pay full price for the tea. Dirty cups n teapots
Corner positioned upmarket styledcoffee shop/ food operation. Wide variety of coffees, drinks, and meals or snacks available. Some consider prices are a bit higher than normal. Eggs Benedict are exceptionally tasty with the salmon.
I was delighted when after enjoying good coffee and reading local newspaper I was asked by a pleasant waitress (Lily by name) if I would like some chilled water while waiting fpr my wife to return. What a nice gesture. Top marks to The Coffee Club. Bob Brown
