Nice library and nice staff, but not a lot on for mums with kids, No play area no playtime or activities only storytime once week and I love taking my kids to the library and these days alot of mums do, hence why most libraries have alot on. Would like to see more.
Pros: Wonderful library staff. A good range of books and easy to reserve more from connected libraries. A nice place to stay while in town.Computers and printers available.Separate study rooms available to book.Cons:Noise level is very loud for a library, I personally wouldnt mind being told to be quiet more by staff if it meant a quieter environment. Extremely slow wifi.
A good selection of DVDs.
Seriously guys... What's wrong with Australian libraries?! Here I was told not to carry a chair around because that could harm children. Where I come from we have libraries for studying! There are no kids and if so, they better be quite. But we have special kids libraries. There they can play and be loud and no one feels disturbed. What a good solution... However the WiFi is slow as always.
Like usually australians confuse libraries with kindergardens. you couldn't study here even if your life would depend on it. also wifi is barely existing (extremly slow). 2 stars for big collection of books and enough tables and power sockets to read and study...
