Great friendly service
My partner and I have been here multiple times over the last 4 years, sometimes by ourselves, sometimes with others. The place got us at day 1! The food is amazing and both the atmosphere and staff are welcoming and warm. The meals are very generous, flavourful and hot, straight from the kitchen. A must try is the steaks! Particularly the rib eye on the bone. It just melts in your mouth! All of our steaks have been cooked perfectly to our liking- medium rare. The menu is typical pub grub with classic favs like schnittys, lamb cutlets, steak, and fish and chips but also features some fancier options like pork belly, linguine and fresh seafood. The meals are very reasonably priced (two for one lunches anyone?) and they even have a dessert specials board. I have been to many pubs for meals and this place holds the crown!The pub itself is an older establishment and modest in size, but it is evident the owners try and update it wherever possible. What it may be lacking in modern decor is certainly made up for in hospitality and cleanliness. The pokies are also quite often a winner, as there arent that many of them but a lot of patrons play them. My partner and I have pulled out a few hundred on many occassions with just a few presses! There are also betting facilities, pool table and beer garden.I know this is a long review but i feel that a decent, honest and detailed review of this place was needed as many of the reviews for restaurants are written by dissatisfied customers- and usually with a poor (or lacking) description of why their expectations were not met. Consecutively many good experiences are not posted which brings the overall star rating down for that place which is unfair. So as i said, this place is worth the visit if even only for the amazing food, and i ask that you take reviews online with a grain of salt unless the poster has given a clear reason for their review. Or you might just miss out on discovering a new fav place to eat.Keep up the good work Aussie! See you again soon!

Great steak! Highly recommended.
Went for the steak special and we enjoyed our meal, they had a lot of bookings so we sat in the beer garden,, they didn't have any heating there and it was a crisp winter evening. The special was for steak,chips and salad $9
