The team at Riverbank are truly amazing, understanding and compassionate people who are genuinely interested in the wellbeing of your pet. We have been going to Riverbank since we moved here three years ago. We knew it was the place for us and our furbabies when we walked in and asked for a tour, and they did not hesitate to show us around. Not only did they show us around and take pride in their work, they explained all the services they offer and encouraged us to bring our dogs in for a meet and greet. Our dogs can be a handful at times, overly exited and what not, but the staff have had nothing but patience and kindness with them. We have also taken family members pets to Riverbank even though they live three hours away, as no other Vet compares to Riverbanks high standards. In summary, the services are state of the art, professionalism is exceptional, staff are empathetic, and your pet will be in competent, loving hands. If you are deciding whether or not Riverbank is for you, I highly recommend popping in for a visit to experience the welcoming atmosphere yourself- and don't forget to take your pet! Im sure they would love to meet them as they did ours. I honestly cannot recommend them enough!!

Don't go there. The vet 'in charge' failed to check my dog for ticks and blamed her lameness on a cruciate surgery he knew nothing about. He advised that it was a bad tick season (a wet year), they were short of antidote, and sent us back to the cottage at the coast 60km away. He was advised we had a long walk in a bushy, tick area. He was told the dog was worth thousands of dollars as a working dog, he was asked to keep her to be sure, and he refused. The dog crashed in the night and was dead the next morning. They were able to find a tick once she was dead! Worse than the death, he takes no responsibility for missing what he said was the most likely cause.
